South Research Park????????scroll>
The South Research Park is the result of State and University initiatives to forge closer relationships with industry and bring University technologies to the marketplace.
Both Motorola and SAIC have established presences in the complex, and the University's National Center for Supercomputing Applications also rents space in one of the buildings. [1]
As part of its commitment towards economic development, the University has located EnterpriseWorks, its technology incubation facility, and the Academy for Entrepreneurship in buildings in the park. [2] In September 2004, construction began on the iCyt Visionary Bioscience building, the sixth in the park. [3]
