Arbor Village Suites

On May 22, 1956, the Board of Trustees authorized the lease of a "small strip of land" north of the Men's Residence Halls to Northwood, Inc., for the construction of 7 apartment buildings for undergraduate women. These buildings were to be leased by the University Foundation [1] and by 1958, [2] [3] the Arbor Village Suites were a residence hall complex for single undergraduate women [4] across Gregory Drive from the Gregory Avenue Residence Halls.
