Fine Arts-Commerce Annex

This facility was completed in 1943 [1] and was in the shape of a cross. It was located where the north-east corner of the modern E2 parking lot is. [2]

By 1948 it had become the Veterans Recreation Building [3] to "supplement the facilities of the Illini Union and the dormitories [and had] a nursery school for the children of student veterans". [4]
