Genetics

Designed by James White, the Genetics building was erected in 1916 [1] at a cost of $10,231.30. [2] Situated immediately south of the New Agriculture Building, almost halfway between it and the Old Agricultural Engineering Building, [3] the Genetics Building's original address was the corner of Farm Lane and Mathews Avenue. [4]

The Genetics building was a one-story brick building housing the Agricultural College's Department of Genetics. The "laboratories, offices and animal rooms" of the building were primarily used for graduate research. [5]
