North Parking Garage

Construction began the six-story North Parking Garage in October 2003 and it officially opened August 16, 2004. An attempt to address the dearth of available parking options in north campus, the garage features 900 faculty/staff spaces, 450 24-hour student spaces, and 150 metered spaces. As of 2004, the cost of a University of Illinois parking permit is $156 a semester, or $312 per academic year. [1]
