PARKING REGULATIONS (25) Several years ago the Board o£ Trustees authorized the following regulation which was subsequently incorporated in the University of Illinois Statutes: " N o parking of automobiles is permitted on University property on any day between 8 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. within the limits bounded by Green Street on the north, Mathews Avenue extended on the east, the road south of the New Agriculture Building on the south, and W r i g h t Street extended on the west, except in areas specifically provided for parking." T h e parking of automobiles in the vicinity of certain buildings outside the above designated area has become so congested that additional parking space must be provided as soon as possible. In the meantime, and as one step in the solution of the problem, the Director of the Physical Plant Department recommends that the present regulations be rescinded and the following be adopted: " N o parking of automobiles is permitted on University property except in areas specifically provided for parking." I concur in this recommendation.

On motion of Mr. McKelvey, this change was approved and adopted.
