During the current year, the work performed by the contractors for these four divisions of work has been satisfactory; and the Physical Plant Department has recommended that the options be exercised. Funds as required will be authorized by a contract work order which will be charged against funds allocated for each project. A schedule of the bids received has been filed with the secretary of the board for record. It is also recommended that the comptroller be authorized to approve work orders under these contracts for projects whose costs do not exceed the limits established by the Illinois Purchasing Act.
