I951] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 737 2. T. ERNEST NEWLAND, Associate Professor of Education, beginning September 1, 1951, at an annual salary of #6,500 (B). On motion of Mrs. Watkins, these appointments were confirmed. CHANGES IN CIVIL SERVICE CLASS SPECIFICATIONS (5) The Director of Nonacademic Personnel submits his annual recommendations for changes in University Civil Service positions to keep the classification plan up to date and t o meet the changing needs of the University. His recommendations include: (a) new classifications; (b) classifications to be deleted; (c) revised specifications; (d) changes and corrections in classification titles; (e) changes in classification titles and revision of specifications; and (f) changes in salary ranges of present classifications. I recommend t h a t the Board approve these changes, effective July I, 1951. „ ..
