488 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [December 28 On motion of Mr. Livingston, the decisions of the President, as presented in A, B, and C on page 487, were approved, and the resignation of Dr. Howard R. Bowen as Dean of the College of Commerce and Business Administration was accepted. APPOINTMENTS TO T H E FACULTY (2) T h e following new appointments t o the faculty of the rank of Assistant Professor and above, and involving tenure, have been approved since the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees. 1. FRANK CLINGAN FOLEY, Research Professor of Geology, Graduate College, beginning September I, 1951, at an annual salary of S750 (1/10 time) (A). 2. OLIVER D. GRACE, Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and Hygiene, College of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Experiment Station, eight months beginning January 1, 1951, without salary (GY). 3. JOHANNA KROUT, Research Assistant Professor of Education, College of Education, ten months beginning December I, 1950, at an annual salary of #5,500 (GY). On motion of Mr. Livingston, these appointments were confirmed.
