SALARY R A N G E : $500-700.

DEFINITION: Under administrative supervision to be responsible for the direction, inspection, and supervision of the work of contractors on major University electrical construction projects, including primary electrical power installations and building distribution systems. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: T O direct, inspect, and supervise work being done by contractors on major University electrical construction projects; direct field and performance tests; interpret architects' and engineers' drawings and specifications; act as liaison between contractors, architects, engineers, and the Uinversity; maintain progress records and reports of work in process; check, verify, and process contractors' requests for payment and other contractual documents; perform related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive and progressive practical experience in responsible charge, including direction, inspection, and supervision of primary and secondary power and lighting distribution installations of more than 4000 volts and 5000 kva capacity; thorough knowledge of electrical construction, materials, procedures, and hazards related to power and lighting distribution system installations; training in electrical engineering desirable; good physical condition; minimum age thirty. SALARY R A N G E : $265-350.

DEFINITION: Under supervision to be responsible for receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing University materials and equipment. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: T O supervise work of delivery and pick up service; record all receipts of University property; correlate shipments with University purchase orders, freight bills, etc.; be responsible for delivery of materials to proper departments and prepare bills of lading for outgoing shipments. Keep necessary records. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation desirable. Experience in stores, freight handling, or property distribution; good physical condition; accuracy; tact and supervisory ability. Supervisor, Central Receiving Station, Assistant

SALARY R A N G E : $200-280.

DEFINITION: Under supervision of the Traffic Manager to be responsible for the general operation of a Central Receiving Station. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: Receive, unpack, store, and distribute to departments materials shipped to the University; also assemble and prepare for shipment miscellaneous materials, empty containers, etc. Issue billing and arrange for transportation. Check and prepare transportation bills for payment. Supervise assistants. Keep necessary records of receipts and deliveries. Distribute various storeroom items as directed. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate. Experience in University stores desirable, or other similar work. Ability to supervise and to deal harmoniously with others. Supervisor of Insurance

SALARY R A N G E : $350-500.

DEFINITION: Under direction to supervise the procurement of all kinds of insurance for the University at Urbana-Champaign; to be responsible for the administration of the insurance office at Urbana-Champaign; to serve in an advisory capacity on insurance matters arising out of University contracts; to act in an advisory capacity for the procurement of insurance at all divisions of the University.
