QUALIFICATIONS: Grade school graduation; high school desirable. T o have served a minimum of one year as Nurse's Aide. Qualified to superior work and have sufficiently passed the examination for the in-service training program. Capable of assuming added responsibility. Good health and physical condition; pleasing personality; ability to get along well with patients, relatives, doctor, nurses, and other workers. Minimum age twenty. Operator, Blue Print Machine

SALARY R A N G E : $150-225.

DEFINITION: Under general supervision to do independent work requiring skill and training in blue print and black line reproduction work. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: T O do blueprinting, making of Van Dyke negatives and positives, Ozalid black line prints and Ozalid blue line prints. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation; thorough knowledge of blue print and black line direct positive printing; at least two years experience in blue print work; good physical condition; minimum age twenty. Police Sergeant

SALARY R A N G E : Prevailing.

DEFINITION: Under supervision of the next ranking police officer to be responsible for shift operations as assigned. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: In the absence of a superior officer to direct the work and personnel of the assigned shift as follows: supervise investigations; coordinate work of traffic squad; act as liaison between patrolmen and headquarters; supervise activities of shift details; act as desk sergeant as directed by superior officer; perform related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: T w o years' high school education with graduation desirable; one year's experience as a policeman; excellent physical condition; thorough knowledge of law enforcement procedures; courage; initiative; tact; pleasing personality; ability to maintain command in an emergency situation; ability to handle men; minimum age twenty-five. SALARY R A N G E : Prevailing.

DEFINITION: Under direct supervision, cleans cooking utensils and kitchen equipment by hand and performs other manual work in the kitchen as assigned. DUTIES BY EXAMPLE: Gathers dirty cooking utensils and kitchen equipment such as pots, pans, and ladles, and scrapes off food residue into garbage receptacle. Washes and scours utensils and equipment with brush and steel wool, and rinses and dries them. Returns cleaned items to proper places in kitchen. Cleans working area, including sinks, tables, and floor area. May deliver supplies and utensils to kitchen employees and participate in general cleaning of kitchen. Does related work as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade school graduation; ability to pass food handler's examination; cleanliness; good physical condition; willingness to work as directed; minimum age eighteen. Salad Maker

DEFINITION: Under direct supervision, prepares salads, dressings, appetizers, sandwich mixtures, cold plate combinations in quantity and on order, cleans area, refrigerator, and pantry, and performs other related and assigned duties. D U T I E S BY EXAMPLE: Prepares vegetables and fruits for salads by washing or peeling, slicing, dicing or chopping; prepares ingredients and mixes salad dressing, sauces, and food cocktails according to detailed instructions; prepares salads and cold plate combinations by arranging ingredients attractively and adding dressings and garnishes; prepares ingredients for sandwiches by slicing meats and cheese; prepares sandwich mixtures and garnishes; makes sandwiches by placing ingredients between slices of bread or toast, trimming, cutting to attractive size and shape, and adding garnishes or side orders if required; dis-
