ALAN J. BARRY, Assistant Professor of Physical Education for Men, beginning September 1, 1958, at an annual salary of $6,500 ( B ) . 2. HAROLD H . BEATY, Professor of Agricultural Engineering, beginning November I, 1958, at an annual salary of $11,500 (C, E, S — A Y ) . 3. ROBERT E. JONES, Lecturer with rank of Assistant Professor, in the Department of Psychology, beginning September 1, 1958, without salary ( D Y ) . 4. ROBERT LANNIGAN, Lecturer with rank of Associate Professor, in the Departments of Medicine and Pathology, for one year from January 1, 1959, at a salary of $8,ooo ( F Y ) . 5. RICHARD E. MARCUS, Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, beginning November I, 1958, without salary ( D Y ) . 6. MARTIN M. ROSNER, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Administration, beginning September 1, 1958, at an annual salary of $6,500 ( D ) . 7. GENE C. Nonacademic Appointments The Director of Nonacademic Personnel reports the following appointments to supervisory positions of upper level responsibility. 1. MARY ALICE JOHNSTON, Dietitian in the Research arid Educational Hospitals, at the rate of $5,000 per annum, effective September 8, 1958. 2. ELEANOR W. MCCULLY, Food Service Supervisor in the Research and E d u cational Hospitals, at the rate of $4,200 per annum, effective September 15, 1958. 3. SANDRA L. NEWLING, Food Service Supervisor in the Student Residence Halls, at the rate of $3,420 per annum, effective September 2, 1958.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR T H E COLLEGE O F VETERINARY MEDICINE (5) The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine recommends the reappointment of Mr. Russell V. McKee, Washburn, Illinois, as a member of the College of Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee for the period of two years beginning September 1, 1958. I concur. O n m o t i o n of M r s . ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH ON EXCEPTIONAL C H I L D R E N (6) The Director of the Institute for Research on Exceptional Children recommends the following reappointments to the Advisory Committee of the Institute for Research on Exceptional Children for three years beginning September 1, 1958: Professor James E. Hulett, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, representative of the University, and Mr. H a r r y McClintock, Assistant Director of the Department of Public Welfare, representative of the Department of Public Welfare. The Board of Trustees on July 16, 1952 (Minutes, page 5) approved the plan for the organization of the Institute which includes an Advisory Committee consisting of three representatives from the University, two from the
