DISTRIBUTION OF RECEIPTS FOR BROWN-KNIPP PATENT (17) A statement concerning the distribution of the money received for the license to manufacture the Brown-Knipp radio tube. O n motion of M r s . Ickes, action w a s deferred until the next meeting of the Board. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION OF EMPLOYEES (18) I recommend that the rule requiring employees who handle food products to be immunized against typhoid fever (Board Minutes, M a y 27, 1916, pages 938-39) be amended to read as follows: Employees of the University of Illinois whose duties require them to handle food products shall be required to be immunized against typhoid fever, and such employees shall be subject to periodical medical examinations under the supervision of the University Health Officer, and no individual shall be employed in duties of this kind who shows symptoms of tuberculosis or of venereal or other communicable disease. On motion of Mr. Barr, this amendment was adopted. CHANGE IN STATUS OF DOCTOR ELI OLECH (19) On recommendation of Dean Noyes, I recommend that the appointment o f Doctor Eli Olech be changed from Assistant in Oral Surgery without salary to Instructor in Oral Surgery, on part time, to give eleven hours' service a week, at an annual salary of $900 beginning September 1, 1927. O n motion of M r s . Busey, this r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s adopted. PLANS FOR WEST WING OF LINCOLN HALL (20) The plans for the West Wing o Lincoln Hall as prepared by P o e s r J. M. f rfso White, Supervising Architect, with the recommendation that the plans be approved. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, these plans were approved. TREASURER'S BOND Mr. Armstrong, for the Finance Committee, presented the bond of Mr. A. M . Burke, Treasurer.
