FEES FOR GRADUATE C O U R S E S IN DENTISTRY (14) The following schedule of fees for graduate courses in the College of Dentistry is recommended by Dean Moorehead. I recommend approval, with the understanding that these fees will become effective September 1, 1924: Matriculation fee $10,00 Tuition fee, residents of Illinois 125.00 Tuition fee, non-residents of Illinois 155.00 Diploma fee 10.00 Late registration fee 1.00 Change in study l s it 1.00 Laboratory fees Anatomy 15.00 General pathology 10.00 Special pathology 5.00 Dental embryology 5.00 Dental histology 5.00 O n motion of M r s . Blake, these fees were adopted. BIDS ON HEATING OF NEW MEN'S GYMNASIUM (15) A recommendation that the Supervising Architect be authorized to call for bids on the heating of the men's Gymnasium, and that the Executive Committee be authorized to award the contract for said heating. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this recommendation w a s approved. PAVING OF FOURTH STREET BEYOND THE CITY LIMITS, TO THE SOUTH END OF THE STADIUM, AND APPROACHES TO THE STADIUM FROM THE EAST (16) A recommendation that in accordance with the action at the meeting of April 12, the Supervising Architect be authorized to call for bids on the paving of the extension of Fourth Street from the city limits on that Street to the south end of the Stadium together with approaches thereto from the East. I further recommend that the Executive Committee be authorized to award the contract or contracts for the above work. O n motion of M r . Trees, this recommendation w a s adopted. CONTRACT FOR THE PAVING OF FIRST STREET, FOURTH STREET, AND STADIUM DRIVE IN THE CITY OF CHAMPAIGN (17) The following contract in order to validate the bonds to be issued against the extended payments for the paving of First Street, Fourth Street, and Stadium Drive. I recommend that the Board authorize the proper officers to sign a contract of the following form on the receipt of a certification from the Counsel of the University that the contract is in proper form, and that the amount of the assessment against the University is reasonable and proper, with the understanding that i the Legal Counsel i absent when action i necessary other counsel may be f s s employed. W H E R E A S , On petition of various property owners, an ordinance has been duly passed by the City Council of Champaign,- Illinois, and proceedings had in the County Court pursuant thereto, and special and general tax levied, all for the construction of the local improvement to First Street, Fourth Street, and Stadium Drive in said City of Champaign, by paving, grading, curbing, guttering, draining, etc.; and
