MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

-OF THE-

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

June 7, 1917

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Thursday, June 7, 1917, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on May 28, 1917:

On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon, on Thursday, June 7, 1917, to consider such matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented.

When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Taggart, Miss Watson. President James was present.

MINUTES APPROVED

The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of May 1, 1917. On motion of Mrs. Henrotin, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 291 to 328, above. TRANSFER OF TREASURER'S FUND The Secretary presented a report from Arthur Young & Company, Certified Public Accountants, concerning the amount of money to be transferred by Mr. H. S. Capron, formerly Treasurer, to Mr. E. D. Hulbert, now Treasurer. This matter was referred to the Finance Committee, to investigate and report the closing out of Mr. Capron's accounts and the transfer of all funds due the University to Mr. Hulbert. 329
