The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Grout, Mr. Hatch, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Meeker; noes, n o n e ; absent, Mr. Anthony, Mrs. Bahrenburg, Mr. Blair, Mr. Deneen, Mr. Moore. President Abbott presented another letter from the supervising architect, as. follows:

Mr. W. L. Abbott, President Board of Trustees: I request the following appropriations for painting and repairs to buildings: 1. Painting walls and ceilings of the lobbies and corridors of the Auditorium $.800 00 2. Painting the under side of the roof of the old Boiler House including the trusses 200 00 3. Painting the under side of Gymnasium roof including trusses 350 00 4. Rebuilding the benches in the north greenhouse of concrete and tile and replacing some of the heating pipes 600 00 5. Elevator gates in Foundry 75 00 6. Painting the exterior of the Observatory 100 00 7. Painting the exterior of the Library 55 00 8. Painting the .exterior of the Law Building > 100 00 9.
