ADJOURNED SESSION, J U N E 29,

1910.

. When the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois met at the Elackstone hotel, in Chicago, at 12:00 m., June 29, 1910, pursuant to the adjourned meeting of June 14, 1910, (see page 368 of ,the minutes) the following members were present: Governor Deneen, Messrs. Abbott, Orebs, Davison, Grout, Hatch and Meeker, and Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. Evans; absent, Messrs. Blair and Moore and Mrs. Busey. The secretary presented the minutes of the board meetings of June 1 and 13 and 14, 1910. The approval of the minutes was passed.

EEPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

Mr. Abbott, chairman of the Executive Committee presented a report of the Executive Committee meetings held June 1 and 13 and 14, 1910, as printed on pages 368 to 383 of the minutes of the meetings of June 13 and 14,

MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT JAMES.

President James presented the following matters for consideration: LEASE OP THE PROPERTY OP THE COLLEGE OP PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS. 1. A draft of a new lease and supplementary agreement between the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and the College of Physicians and Surgeons, to take the place of the existing contract between said parties. Mr. Crebs moved that the committee which has had charge of this matter heretofore, should make some minor changes which it was said were necessary and complete the lease and agreement with the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and that the executive officers of the board be instructed to sign and execute the lease, and agreement when thus completed. Governor Deneen, after stating that there was one point in the lease which he thought objectionable, and that he had .consulted with the Attorney General with reference to it, moved that the term of the lease extend to Sept. 30, 1911, instead of for two years as proposed.
