To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. GENTLEMEN : Your Committee on Buildings and Grounds begs leave to report as follows: Your Committee on consultation decided to put in water tube boilers for heating apparatus for Engineering Hall, and accepted a proposition from the Babcock & Wilcox Company, of New York, for two boilers of 200-H. P. each, at a price of $9,700.00. Your Committee on consultation with the Faculty of the Engineering College gave the contract for furniture for the new building, to the LaFayette Lumber and Manufacturing Company, for $7,500.00, the contract to be fulfilled by December 1, 1894.
