CONTRACT FOR PAINTING IN ILLINOIS NEUROPSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTE (24) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Comptroller recommend award of a contract for £10,602 to William S. Alt and Son, Chicago, the lowest bidder, for washing and painting in the Illinois Neuropsychiatric Institute. This contract will cover all washing and painting of interiors and exterior painting of all metal except windows. This work will be paid for by the'Department of Public Welfare. I concur and recommend t h a t the Comptroller and t h e Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute this contract.

On motion of Mr. Fornof, this contract was authorized.

AWARD OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT CERTIFICATES (25) T h e Committee on Accountancy recommends t h a t the certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded, under Section 5 of the Accountancy Act of 1943, to t h e following candidates who have presented evidence t h a t they are holders of valid and unrevoked Certified Public Accountant certificates obtained by passing a standard written examination in another state or territory of the United States and who qualify in all other respects under this provision of the law:
