The report of the nominating committee was then presented and the following officers were elected: President, John S. Cleavinger; First Vice-preside..-. Winifred Knapp; becond Vice-president, Dorothy Hill; Trustee of the Endowment Fund, Bertha Schneider; Secretary-Treasurer, Josie B. Houchens. The meeting then closed and was followed by an informal reception for Dr. and Mrs. White and Dr. and Mrs. Windsor. (Signed) JOSIE B. S. Cleavinger. One hundred and forty-six members were present. As the local program committee had arranged that the members attend the Pop Concert immediately after the dinner, it was necessary to conduct the business part of the meeting while dinner was being served. The minutes of the last meeting were not ordered read as they were printed in full in the News Letter. In the absence of the secretary-treasurer, Josie B. Houchens, the treasurer s report and that of the Windsor Publication Fund account were read by the acting secretary, Anne M. Boyd. At the request of the President a bnet resume was given by the acting secretary of the meeting of the executive committee held June 22 in the Statler Hotel. ;; . .
