OFFICE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS (23) More than thirty years ago the University of Illinois established the position of Director of Publicity which was subsequently changed to Director of Public Information. T h e r e is a trend line in abandoning the term "public information" and I am recommending a change in the position at the University of Illinois to Director of Public Relations, the Director's office to be known as the Office of Public Relations.

On motion of Mr. Fornof, this change in title was approved.
