39. Mr. John W. Ruettinger, Chicago, $500 for the continuation of the John C. Ruettinger Memorial Scholarship for the academic year 1953-1954. (This gift is made through the University of Illinois Foundation of which Mr. Ruettinger is a member.) 40. Sears-Roebuck Foundation, $4,425 for scholarships in the College of Agriculture. _ 41. Sinai Temple Congregation of Champaign-Urbana, $50 for a scholarship in music. 42. Socony-Vacuum Oil Company, Inc., Billings, Montana, $750 for a scholarship in geology for the academic year 1953-1954. 43. Universal Oil Products Company, Des PJaines, $1,000 for scholarships for senior students in chemical engineering. 44. University of Illinois Student Organization Fund, $500 for scholarships. 45. F . M. Leslie, Trustee of the Homer Baker Memorial Fund, $257.50 from friends of the late Homer Baker, who operated drugstores in Champaign, Illinois, to be used for financial aid to students in the College of Pharmacy. 46. Mr. Elmer Bash, Champaign, $300 to be added to the James M. White Memorial Fund, the income from which is used for prize awards to students in the Department of Architecture. 47. Dr. Elmer A. Eta Kappa Nu, honorary electrical engineering fraternity, $500 for the production of a film on "Engineering as a Career." 49. Evans Hall, University residence hall for women, $50 to be added to the Women Students Aid Fund. 50. Illinois Crop Improvement Association, $500 for publication of an Agricultural Experiment Station bulletin, "1953 Illinois Corn Tests." 51. Estate of Jennie C. Lee, $484.88 for the Eddy Orland Lee Student Loan Fund. (The University is a residuary legatee of this estate.) 52. University of Illinois Mother's Association, $200 to be added to the Women Students Aid Fund. 53. National Scale Men's Association, $212.50 for reprinting Illinois Engineering Experiment Station Bulletin 242, "Pivots and Bearings." 54. Pi Beta Phi Champaign Alumnae Club, $100 for financial aid to women students. 55. Ponderosa Pine Woodwork, national organization of the distributors and promoters of the use of ponderosa pine, $500 for an unrestricted grant to the Department of Architecture. 56. Shi-Ai, student inter-sorority organization, $200 for financial aid to women students. 57. Tau Delta Tau Fraternity, University of Illinois Chapter, $80 to be added to emergency student loan funds as a memorial to the late Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Knight, alumni of the University. 58.
