Chicago Farmers, Chicago, $500 for a scholarship for a senior student in agriculture. 13. Dads' Association, University of Illinois, $200 to establish two scholarships, one to be awarded to a first-year woman student and one to a first-year man student, beginning with the academic year 1953-1954. 14. Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc., Santa Monica, California, $600 for a scholarship in the College of Engineering for the academic year 1953-1954. 15. Forney Foundation, F o r t Collins, Colorado, $500 for two scholarships, one in agriculture and one in agricultural engineering, for the academic year 1953-195416. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest L. Forsythe, Chicago, $300 to establish the Robert W a d e Forsythe Memorial Scholarship in architecture as a memorial to their son who died in Korea. 17. Gulf, Mobile, and Ohio Railroad Company, $2,200 for seven scholarships in agriculture and home economics for the academic year 1954-1955. 18. H a r r i s o n Jules Louis F r a n k and Leon Harrison F r a n k Memorial Corporation, Detroit, Michigan, $500 for a scholarship in electrical engineering for the academic year 1953-1954. 19. Mr. Joseph Harrington, jr., Wenham, Massachusetts, $50 for the Dunlap Harrington Memorial Scholarship. (Since 1939 Mr. Harrington has given $50 annually in memory of his brother, a former University of Illinois student.) 20. Holophane Company, Inc., New York, New York, $1,200 to establish the Holophane Company Illuminating Engineering Scholarships beginning with the academic year 1953-1954. 21. Illinois Congress of Parents and Teachers: a. $600 for three scholarships ($200 each), for the academic year 1953-1954. (The amount received to date is $9,000.) b. $250 for a scholarship to be awarded to a student preparing to teach handicapped children. (The amount received to date is $1,450.) 22. Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs, $1,795 for scholarships in occupational therapy. 23. Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs, Third Congressional District, $1,320 for scholarships in occupational therapy. 24. Illinois Mining Institute, $100 for scholarships in mining engineering. 25. Junior Women's Advertising Club of Chicago, $240 for scholarships in journalism. 26. The Kroger Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, $1,200 to continue six scholarships ($200 each) in agriculture and home economics for the academic year 1953-1954. 27. Mr. Albert Mohr, Jr., Chicago, $1,000 to the Robert Zuppke Scholarship Fund. 28. Monsanto Chemical Company, St. Louis, Missouri, $500 for a scholarship in chemical engineering for the academic year 1953-1954. 29. John Morse Memorial Foundation, Chicago, $3,000 for six scholarships in mechanical and electrical engineering for the academic year 1953-1954. 30. University of Illinois Mother's Association, $200 for two scholarships. 31. Northern Illinois Coal Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri, $200 for a scholarship in mining engineering. 32. Old Ben Coal Company, $500 for scholarships in mining engineering for the academic year 1953-1954. 33. Peabody Coal Company, $400 for scholarships in mining engineering for the academic j'ear 1953-1954. 34. Mrs. Kittie B. Pierce, LaGrange, $500 for the continuation of the Phyllis Pierce Ruettinger Scholarship for the academic year 1953-1954. 35. Pi Kappa Lambda, music fraternity, $410.45 for scholarships in music. 36. Praetorian Society, an organization of students residing in the University's Men's Residence Halls, $120 for scholarships. 37. T h e Presser Foundation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, $250 for the continuation of a scholarship in music for the academic year 1952-1953. 38. Procon Incorporated, Des Plaines, $500 for scholarships in civil and mechanical engineering for the second semester of 1953-1954.
