In view of the fact that these bids would exceed the amount appropriated, the Director of the Physical P l a n t recommends the omission, at this time, of two of the above-mentioned lots (the lot southeast of Mumford Hall and the lot north of the Physics Building), which would reduce the total of the two contracts to $25,263. T h e Director of the Physical Plant and the Comptroller recommend the award of these contracts at a total cost of $25,263. I concur and request authority for the Comptroller and Secretary of the Board to execute the necessary contracts.

On motion of Mr. McLaughlin, these awards were authorized and authority granted as recommended.

AUTOMOBILE FLEET INSURANCE (31) Specifications were sent to 41 interested agencies for automobile fleet insurance, including comprehensive public liability and property damage with $25/50,000 and $5,000 limits respectively; comprehensive fire and theft (non-collision except on a few automobiles) on a stated value-per-car basis; and public liability with $15/20,000 limits covering motor propelled equipment not subject to State Vehicle Registration.
