CURRICULUM PREPARATORY TO TEACHING MENTALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN For the Degree of Bachelor of Science in the Education of Mentally Handicapped Children Required for Admission: Fifteen units of secondary-school work, including English, 3 units, Algebra, 1 unit, Geometry, 1 unit. Recommended, Science, 2 units, Language, 2 units. Additional Standards: The student must rank in the upper 25 per cent of his high-school graduating class or, if a transfer student, must have a grade point average of at least 3.5. Graduation: A minimum of 124 hours of credit, not counting the first two years of work in military science and physical education, is required for graduation. First Year
