6i8 BOARD O F T R U S T E E S [August 29 M E E T I N G O F T H E EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AUGUST 29, 1945 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University Club, Chicago, on Wednesday, August 29, 1945, during the recess in the meeting of the Board on the same day. Mr. Park Livingston, Chairman, and Dr. Karl A. Meyer, member of the Committee, were present; also Mrs. Helen M. Grigsby, Dr. Martin G. Luken, and Mr. Walter W. McLaughlin, members of the Board, and President A. C. Willard and the officials named above. The members of the Board and the officials participated in the discussions. MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT W I L L A R D The Executive Committee considered the following matters presented by the President of the University.
