service a s Assistant Director of t h e American Council on Education Cooperative Study of Training and Experience in t h e Armed Services. 3. That the salaries of Mr. D . A. Grossman, Examiner, and Mr. E. C. Seyler, Recorder, in t h e Registrar's Office, be increased by $75 and $50 a month respectively from January I through August 31, 1945, as compensation for the additional responsibilities they will be continuing to carry while M r . Tuttle is on partial leave of absence. 4. T h e appointment of Mrs. Jean D a y as Assistant to the Director of the High School Testing Bureau at a salary of $150 a month from January 1 through August 31, 1945. T h e funds required for these adjustments are available in the budgets of the Registrar's Office and the H i g h School Testing Bureau. These recommendations a r e made with the understanding that the University's work for t h e American Council on Education will end on August 31, 1945. T h e Council h a s agreed that n o further extension will be requested.

On motion of Mr. Fornof, these arrangements were authorized.

AWARD O F CERTIFICATES O F CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT (3) T h e Committee on Accountancy recommends that t h e certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded the following who have made applications therefor under the Accountancy Act of 1943 and who have presented evidence to the Committee that they are properly qualified: 1.
