INTERNAL BUDGET FOR 1946-1947

(7) The University's internal budget for the fiscal year beginning July I, 1946, and the academic year beginning September 1, 1946, is submitted herewith (see page 1204). I recommend: 1. That this budget covering the allocation of the University's income from all sources be approved. 2. That the President of the University be authorized to (a) make such changes and adjustments as are needed, (b) make such additional appointments as are necessary, and (c) accept resignations as are offered, in accordance with the needs of the University and the equitable interests involved, within the total income, all such changes to be covered in the Comptroller's quarterly reports. T h e Comptroller presented a condensed analysis of the internal budget. O n motion of M r . Nickell, the internal budget was approved, and authority was granted to the President of the University as recommended, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Davis, M r . Fornof, M r . Livingston, M r . McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, D r . Meyer, M r . Nickell, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, M r . Green, M r s . Grigsby, D r . Luken.
