1. A fee of $20 for residents of Illinois and $40 for nonresidents is recommended. The sum of $10 of such fees will be withheld and credited to the Surveying Camp Revolving Account and will be used to provide for the operating costs of the camp other than salaries of University staff members of the camp and food service. The balance of such fees collected will be credited as general student fees. Any balance in the Revolving Account will be reappropriated at the close of each fiscal year. The cost of food service will be paid by the students enrolled. The assessment for this purpose will be on a cost basis, as agreed on between the Department of Civil Engineering and the Comptroller. 2. Registration for this camp will be in the spring semester of each year. This proposal has been reviewed and concurred in by the Committee on Fees and Scholarships. I recommend approval. On motion of Mr. Williamson, these fees were approved as recommended.

APPROPRIATION OF AGRICULTURAL RECEIPTS

(10) The Dean of the College of Agriculture requests that excess receipts of the College of Agriculture be appropriated for the purposes indicated: Horticulture — equipment $3 312 76 Animal Husbandry — purchase of Angus bull 1 000 00 Agronomy — equipment 4 210 87 Agronomy • printing of bulletin — 506 40 Dixon Springs Experiment Station: Equipment 3 125 00 Operations 1 875 00 The Comptroller concurs in this request, and I recommend that these funds be appropriated. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, these receipts were appropriated as recommended, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Fornof, M r s . Grigsby, Mr. Livingston, Mr. McKelvey, M r . McLaughlin, M r . Nickell, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, Mr. Davis, Mr. Green, D r . Luken, Dr. Meyer.

ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR MEDICAL DEPARTMENTS

( n ) On the request of Executive Dean Allen and with the endorsement of the Comptroller, I recommend an additional appropriation of $19,000 from the General Reserve Fund for expense, equipment, and wage requirements of various departments in the College of Medicine for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1046, in excess of original budget provisions. SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR NONRECURRING EXPENDITURES

(12) The Committee on Special Appropriations and Nonrecurring Expenditures recommends assignments from the General Reserve Fund for the following purposes, these appropriations to be available until January 1, 1947: 1. Foreign publications for University Library, $10,000. 2. Equipment for Bacteriology Department, $1,150. On motion of M r .
