POWER PLANT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER (15) T h e Director of the Physical Plant Department recommends approval of Change Order No. 4 in the contract with the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company for equipment for the new Power and Heating Plant, increasing the contract by $3,754 for installation of one complete set of primary and control switchgear equipment (to complete unit No. 13) to provide for interchange of power service with the Illinois Iowa Power Company. T h e Board of Trustees, on October 21, 1040 (Minutes, page 105), authorized an agreement for the interchange of electric service. T h e additional equipment to be purchased duplicates that which has already been furnished under an existing contract with the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company. On motion of Mr. Davis, this change was authorized. CONTRACT CHANGE ORDERS ON P.W.A. PROJECTS (16) A recommendation from the Director of the Physical Plant Department that the following contract change orders be authorized: Illini Union Building Contract Change Order No. 11 with the Wadeford Electric Company for electrical work. (1) Incidental changes in electrical connections to motors throughout the building in accordance with quotation dated November 4, 1940 $307 75 (2) E x t r a work in Room No. 121 as covered by full size detail drawing 152-C 14 38 Total Additional Cost $322 13 Contract Change Order No. 12 with the W a d e f o r d Electric Company for electrical work.
