MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL STUDENT ORGANIZATION FUND TREASURERS MEETING Date: December 5, 1967 Time: 4 p.m. Place: 314 Illini Union (S) The meeting was called to order by Mr. Lyle Dahlenburg, Acting Treasurer, representing Mr. Farber. Present were 85 treasurers. Mr. Dahlenburg explained the purpose of the meeting. EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT Mr. Hampton read the minutes of the two meetings held last year. TREASURER'S REPORT Mr. Dahlenburg passed out a summary of the financial report of the Student Organization Fund for the year ended July 31, 1967, submitted by Mr. Farber. It was moved and seconded that the report be accepted. MOTION CARRIED ELECTIONS OF MEMBERS FOR THE STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FUND FINANCIAL BOARD Seven nominations were presented for consideration for membership on the Board. Allen Chapman (Sachem), Kay Sloan (Torch), Sybil Anderson (L.A.S. Council), Bill Sterrett (Student Senate) were elected to the Board, with Miss Sloan being elected Chairman by virtue of the outstanding number of votes. Tim Fass (Terrapin) was elected as an alternate member. LACK OF A QUORUM Mr. Hampton explained that 101 representatives were necessary for a quorum and, because a quorum was not present, a copy of the minutes would be mailed to all treasurers for confirmation of the action taken at this meeting.
