Society of Women Engineers October 11, 1966 7:00 P.M. 134 Electrical Engineering Building University of Illinois Student Section The Student Section of the Society of Women Engineers met on October 11, 1966, at 7:00 P.M. in room 134 Electrical Engineering Building. The meeting was called to order by Sandra Levey. The minutes of the Engineering Council Meeting of September 29, 1966 were read. New Business: Engineering Open House was discussed. An IBM representative will come to discuss materials and ideas for Open House. A suggestion was made that we should buy prime time on a mass communications media such as WLS in order to reach high school students in all parts of Illinois. Dorothy Martorano will inquire about this. A joint meeting with the Purdue Chapter is being planned for February 17 and 18. J tentative schedule is as followsi L 1. Friday-evening dinner and recreation 2. Saturday-a morning meeting, luncheon at Miss Grace Wilson's home, the Purdue-Illinois basketball game Miss Jean Hill and Dean Howard Waiceland were guests and answered questions.
