Sheldon Equipment Company — 151 000 Total $5 369 102 It is also recommended that all contracts other than the general contract be assigned to the contractor for general work, making the total of his contract $5,369,102; and it is further recommended that an agreement be entered into with Kuhne-Simmons Company, Inc., Champaign, for the assignment of these other contracts for $69,000 which amount is included in the contract price, being the amount bid by that Company for service charge for supervision of other contracts assigned to the general contractor. Funds are available from the state capital appropriations to the University from the University's Building Fund, subject to release, and from a grant of $1,600,000 from the National Science Foundation and a grant of $750,000 from the National Institutes of Health. Submitted herewith is a report from the Physical Plant Department^ on this project, including a schedule of all bids received, copies of which are being filed with the Secretary of the Board for record. I recommend the awards of contracts, as indicated, subject to the release of the state funds. O n m o t i o n of M r .
