Contractors were instructed to include in their bidding any adjustments they would require if the contracts can not be awarded within ninety days but are awarded within one hundred and eighty days. This was necessary because the construction will be financed from the proceeds of the Universities Bond Issue and it can not be determined how soon funds will be available and wil! be released. Bids were taken at the same time on a single contract revering all three divisions of work. If funds are not available so that contracts can be awarded within ninety days hut ate available for awards within one hundred and eighty days, it is recommended that a single contract covering all three divisions of work be awarded to square Deal Electrical Contracting, Inc., on its lowest bid of $290,716, including the additive alternates recommended under Division "EE." Submitted herewith is a supporting memorandum from the Physical Plant apartment including a list of all bids received, a description of the additive alternates to be included in the contract for the furnishing and installation of npSj1*3' equipment and cables for the Electrical Distribution System (Division t-t ), and a copy is being filed with the Secretary for record. 1 concur.
