Resolution Be It, and It Hereby Is, Resolved by The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation of the State of Illinois, that the Illinois Building Authority be, and it hereby is, requested to procure from the City of Chicago, a municipal corporation, acting through its Department of Water and Sewers, the total work of the relocation and extension of water mains to serve the Science and Engineering Staff Office Building, Library, and Architecture and Art Laboratories at Chicago Circle, Phase II, at an estimated total cost of $44,945.70. Be It, and It Hereby Is, Further Resolved by The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, a public corporation of the State of Illinois, that the Comptroller and Secretary of this public corporation be, and they hereby are, authorized to make, execute, acknowledge and deliver, in the name and in behalf of this corporation, such instruments of transfer, assignment, conveyance, lease, contract, and other documents as are necessary or appropriate in order to provide for the carrying out of the foregoing project and facility by the Illinois Building Authority. ASSIGNMENT OF CONSULTANT CONTRACT TO THE ILLINOIS BUILDING AUTHORITY (15) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that the Board authorize the assignment of the contract with Waldron Associates, Inc., Haddonfield, New Jersey, to the Illinois Building Authority. The firm was employed by the Board at its meeting on April 20, 1966, for critical path scheduling services for construction of Chicago Circle campus, Phase II. Inasmuch as this work is being financed and constructed by the Illinois Building Authority in accordance with an act of the Seventy-fourth General Assembly of Illinois declaring this project to be in the public interest, it is desirable that the contract be assigned to the Illinois Building Authority.
