On motion of Mr. Barrett, this appropriation was made, by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Barr, Mr. Barrett, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Karraker, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland; no, none; absent, Mr. Horner, Mr. Mayer, Mr. Williams.

ADJUSTMENTS IN BUDGET (15) In approving the budget for 1936-1937 the Board authorized the President of the University to make such changes and adjustments as are needed. Under this authorization the following adjustments have been made during the first fiscal quarter ending September 30, 1936, and are being reported for record with the recommendation that an appropriation of $3,549 be made from the General Reserve Fund to cover them: Permanent additions to current budget: Registrar's Office—Chicago, salaries (increase in rate paid Therese Stadler, Clerk and Stenographer) $ 228 00 Botany, salaries (increase in rate paid H . AGREEMENT W I T H CHAMPAIGN COUNTY MILK PRODUCERS FOR INVESTIGATION OF SAMPLING A N D TESTING OF MILK (16) A recommendation from the Dean of the College of Agriculture for the approval of a cooperative agreement with the Champaign County Milk P r o ducers for a special investigation to study the results obtained by daily sampling and testing of milk as compared with weekly composite samples, to be conducted by the Agricultural Experiment Station. T h e agreement is not drawn for any definite period but will become effective when executed and may be terminated at any time at the option of the University. T h e Champaign County Milk Producers agree to provide the samples to be tested and $250 to pay the expenses of the tests. This agreement conforms to the conditions and regulations of the Board of Trustees relating to such investigations and has been approved by the University Counsel with the suggestion that there be added to the contract a provision for the purchase of liability insurance, if obtainable, to protect employees engaged in the work in case of accidents.
