Professor Larson •was in the active service of the University from September I, 1907, until his retirement, September 1, 1937. H e died on March 9, 1938. 3. W. G. Hixson, employee of the Physical Plant Department—$274. Mr. Hixson was in the active service of the University from March I, 1910, until his retirement, September I, 1927. H e died on April 3, 1938. 4. Marcus L. Hansen, Professor of History—$2,250. Professor Hansen was in the active service of the University from September 1, 1928, until January 7, 1938, and on leave of absence on account of illness from January 7, to the date of his death, May II, 1938.
