MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 26 and 27, 1936 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, on Monday, October 26, 1936, and continued through Tuesday, October 27, 1936. When the Board convened at six o'clock p.m. on Monday, October 26, 1936, the following members were present: President Karraker, Mr. Barr, Mr. Barrett, Mrs. Freeman, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President. 77
