MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS August 2, 1937 The August meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:00 a.m. (Chicago Daylight Saving Time) on Monday, August 2, 1937. The following members were present: President Karraker, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. C. S. Havens, Director of the Physical Plant Department, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President. SECRETARY, PRO TEMPORE In the absence of Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Mr. Janata acted as Secretary Pro Tempore. 361
