On motion of Mr. Cleary, these changes were approved as recommended, subject to budgetary considerations.

CHANGES IN REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTER'S DEGREE IN ORTHODONTIA (15) T h e College of Dentistry offers a graduate course, Orthodontia 101, which covers a year's work for students taking the master's degree in Orthodontia. The University Senate recommends that the course be extended a minimum of £>ne-half time for an extra semester in the case of candidates for the master's degree, O n m o t i o n of M r . C l e a r y , a c t i o n o n t h i s r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s d e f e r r e d p e n d i n g t h e r e c e i p t of a full r e p o r t f r o m t h e C o l l e g e of Dentistry. CONTRACT CHANGE O R D E R S FOR MEDICAL A N D DENTAL BUILDING (16) Under the authorization of the Board of Trustees on May 27, 1936, the following contract change orders for the second unit of the Medical and Dental College Laboratories Building, as recommended by the Physical Plant Department, have been authorized and are being presented for confirmation by resolution, as required by the State Director of the Federal Emergency Administration of Public W o r k s : Be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees hereby approves the action of the President of the University in authorizing the following change orders for the second unit of the Medical and Dental College Laboratories Building: I. General Contract Change Order No. 33 F o r furnishing and installing %s" asphalt tile instead of troweled mastic in D a r k Rooms No. 52 and No. 53, and Animal Rooms Nos. 808 and 1108 N o change F o r furnishing and installing % 6 " asphalt tile instead of linoleum in Photography Rooms No. 51, No. 51-A-B-C, deduct the sum of $16 20 Change Order No. 34 F o r furnishing and installing additional marble and hollow tile for counter in Room No. 115, add the sum of $39 13 Change Order No, 36 Clean and wire brush exposed plumbing pipes and paint one prime coat lead and oil paint, add $1 080 00 Size with hard oil all covered piping installed by heating contractor, add 480 00 Total Addition $1 560 00
