(21) The University Senate recommends adoption of the following curriculum in Commercial Design, effective September, 1937, as an option in the curriculum in Painting in the College of Fine and Applied Arts:

On motion of Mr. Adams, this curriculum was approved as recommended.

CHANGE IN REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO C U R R I C U L A IN ARCHITECTURE

(22) The University Senate has approved a recommendation from the Faculty of the College of Fine and Applied Arts that the requirements for admission to that division be changed by eliminating the one-half unit of Solid Geometry heretofore required^for admission to the curricula administered by the Department of Architecture, effective September 1, 1937.

On motion of Mr. Cleary, this change was approved as recommended.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION IN S C H O O L OF JOURNALISM

(23) The University Senate has approved a recommendation from the Faculty of the School of Journalism that the total number of semester hours required for graduation in that division be increased from 60 to 64, making a total of 124 semester hours required for graduation, effective September 1, 1937.

On motion of Mr. Mayer, this change was approved as recommended.

GRADUATION W I T H H O N O R S FROM T H E COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE

(24) The University Senate recommends the following plan of honors in the College of Agriculture: 1. The honors to be awarded at graduation shall be designated as Honors, High Honors, and Highest Honors. 2. They shall be awarded according to the following rules: a. For the degree with Honors the student must have an average of 4.0 in all courses used for graduation.

•Figure Drawing and Sketch (3 hrs.) meets concurrently with Art 29 and 30 (5 hrs.).
