This statement was received and the President of the University was requested to send copies to the members of the Board, and the matter was made a special order of business for the next meeting of the Board.

RESIGNATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

The Secretary presented for record the following list of resignations and cancellations.

Coombs, Robert, Instructor in Surgery, in the College of Medicine—cancellation effective September 1, 1936. Robbins, A. lone, Clerk and Typist in the Accounting Division of the Business Office—resignation effective December 5, 1936. Weinfeld, Gustav F., Associate in Pediatrics, in the College of Medicine— cancellation effective September 1, 1936. APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT

The Secretary presented also for record a list of appointments made by the President of the University.

Baker, James Gerard, Cataloger in the Library, on three-fourths time, for ten months beginning November 1, 1936, at a cash compensation at the rate of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment).
