APPOINTMENT OF HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY (.35) On June 9, 1034, Acting President Daniels appointed a committee to make recommendations concerning the headship of the Department of Surgery to fill the vacancy created by the death of the late Dr. Carl A. Hedblom. The committee has recently made its report and recommendation, which I submit herewith. The Dean of the College of Medicine and the Dean of the Graduate School concur in this recommendation. I also concur and recommend approval.
