MOREAU ROBERTS BROWN (13) Dr. James M. Brown, a member of the class of 1899 of the College of Medicine, has presented the University with a bronze plate in memory of his father, Moreau Roberts Brown, who was Professor of Laryngology and Rhinology at the College of Medicine from 1898 to 1902. I recommend that this plate be accepted, to be hung in some suitable place in the College of Medicine. O n motion of Mrs. Ickes, this recommendation was adopted. AGREEMENT WITH LESLIE IRVIN FOR OPERATION OF THE CARTER-PENNELL FARM (14) Dean Mumford recommends that the agreement with Mr. Leslie Irvin for the operation of one of the Carter-Pennell farms for the year beginning March 1, 1928, (approved by the Board May 23, 1928; Minutes, page 607), be extended for one year from March I, 1929. I concur in this recommendation. O n motion of M r . Barr, this recommendation was approved. APPROPRIATION FOR CLAYTON-BENNINGTON DRAINAGE DISTRICT (15) I recommend that an appropriation of $80, or as much thereof as may be necessary, be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to pay the University's share of the assessment against University land in the Clayton-Bennington Drainage District, which crosses the University's Experiment Field at Minonk in Woodford County. O n motion of M r . Trees, this appropriation was made, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, M r . Barr, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mrs. Ickes, Dr. Noble, M r . Trees, M r . W a r d ; no, none: absent, M r . Blair, M r . Small.
