B E I T R E S O L V E D F U R T H E R that inasmuch as the contract submitted to the Board by a joint committee of the faculty and members of said Association does not clear away all difficulties in the way of the University's action a committee of the Board (of which the President of the Board shall be chairman) shall be appointed to give immediate further consideration to this matter and to report to the Board at its next monthly meeting. President Armstrong appointed Mrs. Busey and Mrs. Evans to serve with him on this committee. MATTERS PRESENTED FOR PRESIDENT KINLEY It being necessary for the President of the University to be absent from the room for a short time, the Board considered the following matters presented for the President, on his request, by the Secretary of the Board. GENERAL CONTRACT, CHEMISTRY ANNEX (1) Letter from Professor White: January 11, 1930 Chemistry Annex President David Kinley, 355 Administration (W) Dear President Kinley: I a m enclosing a schedule of the bids received this morning for the General Work on the Chemistry Annex, and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Mr. A.
