I should have reached the same conclusion on both propositions, had I not found section 34 (d), Report of 1910. The practical construction of the statutes and by-laws for a period of over twenty years, acquiesced in by several intervening Boards, I should have deemed conclusive on the subject of the correct interpretation of the rules. C O M M I T T E E O N P A T E N T S President Armstrong announced that he had appointed Mrs. Evans a member of the Special Committee on Patents in place of Mr. Trees, who asked to be relieved of service on this committee. TREASURER'S R E P O R T Mr. Trees, for the Finance Committee, presented a recommendation that the Treasurer's report be approved. O n motion of M r . Trees, this report was approved. A U D I T R E P O R T O F ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION Mr. Trees, for the Finance Committee, presented a recommendation that the report of audit of the Athletic Association accounts be received for record. O n motion of M r . Trees, this recommendation was adopted. INTEREST D U E F R O M U R B A N A C O K E C O R P O R A T I O N Mr. Trees reported that the Finance Committee had considered the request of Professor Parr that the date of crediting the cumulative interest payable by the Urbana Coke Corporation be deferred, and that the Committee regretted that it could not recommend the granting of this request. O n motion of Mr. Trees, this report was concurred in. R E P O R T O F AUDIT Mr. Trees, for the Finance Committee, reported a recommendation that the report of Arthur Young & Co. on the audit of the accounts of
