( 3 ) On request of Doctor Beard, approved by the Comptroller, I recommend that .3 an appropriation of $800 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the Health Service to supplement its expense and equipment budget. PUBLICATION OF FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS CONCERNING THE UNIVERSITY

(34) The Director of the University Press reports that the supply of booklets containing the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois concerning the University is practically exhausted and raises the question whether a new set should not be published. He estimates that i will cost not over $750 for a booklet of from 120 to 160 pages. t I recommend that an appropriation of $750, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be appropriated for the reprint of this booklet, and that there be included all of the opinions of the Attorney General and the Legal Counsel affecting the University. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this recommendation w a s adopted. T h e appropriation w a s m a d e b y the following vote: A y e , President Armstrong, M r . Barr, M r s . Busey, M r s . APPROPRIATION FOR "PUBLISHERS' TRADE LIST ANNUAL" (35) O n recommendation of the Director of the University Press, seconded by Librarian Windsor and approved by the Comptroller, I recommend that an appropriation of $500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the University Press, for the publication in the "Publishers' Trade List Annual" of a catalog of the publications of the University, and for extra copies of this catalog. APPROPRIATION FOR MEETING OF FEDERATION OF ILLINOIS COLLEGES

(36) I request authority to invite the Federation of Illinois Colleges to hold their annual convention at the University in February, 1930, and recommend that an appropriation of $500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be made for the expenses of this convention.
