TREASURER'S B O N D O n motion of Dr. Noble, the Treasurer's bond wasfixedat ?i ,500,000. ELECTION OF TREASURER O n motion of Dr. Noble, the election of the Treasurer was reconsidered. O n motion of Dr. Noble, Mr. A. M . Burke of Champaign was elected Treasurer of the University, for the next term of office, on proper qualification, and when he furnishes a satisfactory bond. O n motion of Dr. Noble, the Treasurer was requested to submit promptly a bond as required to the Finance Committee for investigation and report to the Board of Trustees. AUTHORITY T O RECEIVE F U N D S O n motion of Mr. Blair, the following resolution was adopted: Resolved, that the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois is authorized to receive and receipt for all moneys, and to endorse all orders, drafts, and checks due and payable to the Board of Trustees or to the University of Illinois, and especially all drafts drawn by the Treasurer of the United States payable to the Board of Trustees or the University of Illinois on account of the Agricultural Experiment Station of the University. DELEGATION OF SIGNATURES O n motion of Mrs. Evans, the President and the Secretary of the Board of Trustees were authorized to delegate the signing of their names as President and Secretary, respectively, to vouchers to be presented to the State Auditor, and to warrants drawn on the Treasurer of the University, under the following conditions: The President of the Board of Trustees is authorized to delegate to the Auditor and to the Chief Accountant in the Business Office authority to sign his name, as President of the Board of Trustees, to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer, covering vouchers approved in accordance with the regulations of the Board. The Secretary of the Board of Trustees is authorized to delegate to the Bursar and to the Assistant Bursar in the Business Office authority to sign his name, as Secretary of the Board of Trustees, to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer, covering vouchers approved in accordance with the regulations of the Board. The President and the Secretary of the Board of Trustees are authorized to delegate to the Comptroller and to the Assistant to the Comptroller authority to sign the name of the President or of the Secretary of the Board of Trustees to vouchers against the State Auditor, and to warrants on the University Treasurer in case of emergency; provided that under no circumstances shall the Comptroller or the Assistant to the Comptroller sign the names of both the President and the Secretary to the same warrant or voucher.
