Trees; no, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Dr. Noble, M r . Small. APPROPRIATION FOR ARCHEOLOGICAL EXPLORATIONS (6) Dr. Warren K. Moorehead, who has been in charge of our archeological explorations, requests an additional $500 to complete the work on the Ogden-Dickson Mound near Lewistown. I recommend that an additional appropriation of $500 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for t i purpose. hs O n motion of Mrs. Grigsby, this appropriation was made, by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Armstrong, M r . SPITLER (7) I recommend that the academic t t e of Messrs. J. D. Bilsborrow and J. C. ils Spitler in the Extension Service be changed to read i each case, "Assistant State n Leader of Farm Advisers with the rank of Assistant Professor." O n motion of Mr". Barr, this recommendation was approved. LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR PROFESSOR B. SMITH HOPKINS (8) On request of Professor B. Smith Hopkins of the Department of Chemistry, approved by Professor Roger Adams and Dean Babcock, I recommend that he be given a sabbatical leave of absence for one year, under the rules, arrangements as to time to be approved by the President of the University. O n motion of M r s . Busey, this leave w a s granted.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CERAMIC ENGINEERING

O n motion of Mr. Trees, these appointments were made. APPOINTMENT TO ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE COLLEGE O F AGRICULTURE (10) On recommendation of Dean Mumford, I recommend that Mr. J F. Ammann of .
