HISTORY OF CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT (22) A statement concerning the possibility of bringing down to date publishing the history of the growth and development of the campus. The President of the University was asked to study this matter further and to make a recommendation later, if it seemed wise. At this point, Governor Small took his place with the Board. RESEARCH HOSPITALS (23) A brief statement concerning the Research Hospitals operated by University and the State Department of Public Welfare. As the members of the Board, the President, and the Supervising Architect were to visit these hospitals during the afternoon, no action was taken. LANDSCAPING OF THE CAMPUS Mrs. Ickes, for the special committee on the Landscaping of the Campus, stated that she had been unable to arrange a meeting with Mr. Piatt and that therefore she could not make any report at this meeting. EXTENSION OF RESIDENCE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR WOMEN Mrs. Evans reported progress on the investigation by the Committee on Student Welfare and the Finance Committee of the extension of residence accommodations for women.
